Mohammed Abbkr, a 29-year-old Sudanese asylum seeker who was granted residency in 2019, has been indefinitely detained in a mental hospital after setting two elderly men on fire. Abbkr, diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic, attacked Hashi Odowa, 82, and Mohammed Rayaz, 70, by pouring petrol on them and setting them alight outside mosques in London and Birmingham.
