Swedish startup Wingbits has raised $3.5 million in a seed funding round to develop a flight tracking network that leverages blockchain technology. The funding round was led by Borderless Capital and Tribe Capital, with participation from existing investor Antler Global. Wingbits aims to pay flight trackers for their data, combining the strengths of the aviation and blockchain communities. The company is based in Stockholm and seeks to create one of the world's best flight tracking networks. The seed funding round also includes €3.1 million.
