Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman chaired the second meeting to review the Capital Expenditure (Capex) for the Ministry of Railways in New Delhi today. The Minister emphasized the importance of 'Ease of Living' for citizens and urged the Ministry to expedite work on capacity augmentation, safety, and commuter convenience. Additionally, Sitharaman chaired a review meeting to assess the budgeted Capex for the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, as part of a series of ongoing reviews.
