Ondo, Pantera Launch $250 Million Fund, Acquire Broker Oasis Pro

Ondo Finance has teamed up with crypto-focused investment firm Pantera Capital to create “Ondo Catalyst,” a $250 million fund aimed at accelerating the tokenization of real-world assets such as U.S. Treasuries, equities, real estate and private credit. The vehicle will take both equity stakes and token positions in projects that build trading venues, compliance tools and other infrastructure designed to move traditional financial instruments onto public blockchains.

The partners said Catalyst is one of the largest single pools yet devoted to the sector and will concentrate on applications that enable 24-hour settlement and broader retail access. The move comes amid rapid growth in the market for on-chain versions of conventional securities; Ondo already manages about $1.4 billion of tokenized assets through products such as OUSG and USDY.

In a related step announced a day later, Ondo agreed to purchase Oasis Pro, a U.S. brokerage platform that holds licenses for a broker-dealer, an Alternative Trading System and a transfer agent. Financial terms were not disclosed, and the deal is subject to regulatory approval.

Securing those licenses would allow Ondo to expand its Global Markets offering by listing tokenized U.S. stocks for non-U.S. investors and eventually broader audiences, positioning the firm against exchanges including Robinhood and Kraken that are also racing to bring equities on-chain. Together, the Catalyst fund and Oasis Pro acquisition underscore Ondo’s strategy to pair capital with regulatory infrastructure as competition intensifies in blockchain-based capital markets.
