However, US equity funds have seen $9.3 billion in outflows in the week ending May 7, marking the largest four-week outflow since May 2023. Foreign investors have sold $63 billion of US stocks since March, predominantly driven by European investors. Meanwhile, cash inflows into crypto reached $51.9 billion, the largest in nine weeks and the biggest four-week inflow in three months. Fidelity also purchased an additional $45 million worth of Bitcoin recently. Despite retail buying, US technology funds posted $1.2 billion in net outflows in the week ending May 7. The cumulative net inflows into US spot Bitcoin ETFs have now hit a new lifetime high, underscoring renewed institutional confidence in Bitcoin amid mixed equity market flows.
