The White House has released the general terms of a new trade agreement with the United Kingdom, dubbed the 'Economic Prosperity Deal'. This deal is seen as a template for future trade negotiations, according to Trump Trade Adviser Peter Navarro.

White House Senior Adviser Kevin Hassett, speaking on CNBC, emphasized that the UK deal will serve as a framework for upcoming trade agreements, suggesting that the market will see more deals similar to the UK deal in the coming weeks. Hassett also mentioned on CNBC that 24 other trade deals are close to being resolved.

The US and UK are still negotiating digital services terms, according to Fox Biz, while an alternative arrangement on steel has been proposed. Navarro clarified that the US will not eliminate all tariffs on steel and aluminum, but anticipates quick deals with countries like the UK and Australia.

Hassett noted on CNBC that the UK deal will be beneficial for farmers. Additionally, he expressed optimism about ongoing trade discussions with China in Switzerland, stating on CNBC that everything related to the Geneva meeting is promising for the US.
