Torsten Bell, CEO of the Resolution Foundation and former adviser to Ed Miliband, has been selected as Welsh Labour’s parliamentary candidate for Swansea West. Bell, who was previously rumored to be a candidate for Hackney North, will now contest the seat in the upcoming General Election. The selection follows reports from local sources and Nation Cymru, and confirmation from Welsh Labour. He will replace Geraint Davies.
