The UK's electricity generation has seen significant fluctuations in recent days, with wind power showing notable variability. On June 27, wind power was at 10GW. On June 28, wind power generated 42.6% of British electricity, surpassing nuclear at 18.4% and gas at 15.2%. On the same day, wind power reached 15.3GW. However, by June 29, wind power had dropped to 4.3GW, with gas and imports compensating for the shortfall. The price of wholesale electricity has also varied, reaching £32 per MWH on June 28 and rising to £84 per MWH by July 1. On June 27, the price was £83 per MWH.
