UK Recalls Paracetamol Batches 2312010 and 2312011 Expiring November; Spain’s AESAN Withdraws Toxic Flour Over Health Risks to Children

Health authorities in the United Kingdom and Spain have issued urgent recalls of certain consumer products due to contamination concerns. In the UK, several batches of paracetamol, a widely used over-the-counter painkiller, have been recalled after detection of possible contamination. The affected paracetamol tablets are prescription-only, marked with batch numbers 2312010 and 2312011, and have expiry dates in November. Consumers are advised to check their medication and avoid consumption of these batches.

Meanwhile, in Spain, the Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN) has ordered the immediate withdrawal of contaminated flour containing toxic substances from supermarkets. Health officials have warned against consumption of this flour, particularly emphasizing the risk it poses to children. Both recalls highlight ongoing concerns about product safety and consumer health risks associated with contaminated goods.
