The UK Government has confirmed the inclusion of several schools in its School Rebuilding Programme due to concerns over Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC). Five local schools in South Basildon and East Thurrock, as well as schools in the Witham constituency, have been announced as part of this initiative. Additionally, more than 100 schools across England will have their blocks rebuilt or refurbished to address the structural risks associated with RAAC.

Today’s important news for the Witham constituency about the Govt’s school rebuilding programme is really significant. Having continuously worked with local schools to make the case to Govt on the need to invest in schools, I am delighted they are in the rebuilding programme. https://t.co/9v92czd39j
