In a series of developments concerning funding for community services and sports in the UK, Milton Keynes has received an additional boost to its rough sleeping funding through the Move On & Prevention uplift, though the specific uplift amount is not disclosed. This increase is in addition to the £3.8 million already allocated through the Rough Sleeping Initiative for the years 2022-25. In total, more than £20 million has been dedicated to addressing rough sleeping and homelessness in Milton Keynes since 2019. In Wales, over £3 million of Welsh Government funding is being invested to enhance community sports facilities and leisure centres. Furthermore, the Rural Development Fund (RDF) has fully invested the £846 million allocated to Wales for the period 2014-2020. The Football Foundation, supported by the Premier League, the FA, and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS), is offering support to transform grassroots sports facilities across the country, with several funding opportunities available.
