An investigation has uncovered a prostitution ring operated by Thai asylum seeker Saranwee Kwanpetch, who has been exploiting vulnerable southeast Asian women since at least August 2019. The operation was conducted under the oversight of the UK's Home Office, which was supposed to be monitoring Kwanpetch. Evidence suggests that millionaire Tory donor Hamish Ogston was among those offered the services of these women. Following the exposure, the company associated with Kwanpetch, known as Star Asian, took its website down.
