This monumental journey, equivalent to running 385 marathons, was completed to raise funds for charity, with Cook raising over £710,000. Throughout his journey, Cook faced numerous challenges, including being robbed at gunpoint, suffering food poisoning, and being held hostage by machete-wielding villagers.
