To commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day, the Royal Air Force (RAF) has unveiled a special paint scheme on one of its Eurofighter Typhoon jets for the 2024 display season. The aircraft, part of the RAF's Typhoon Display Team, features a design inspired by the 257 Squadron Hawker Typhoon flown by Denzel Jenkins during D-Day in 1944. The unveiling took place at RAF Coningsby. Additionally, servicemen silhouettes were assembled near Gold Beach to mark the occasion.
