A South Wales police officer resigned after being discovered sending inappropriate messages on the gay dating app Grindr to an individual he believed was a 14-year-old boy. In a separate but similarly concerning case, a sergeant at a Florida juvenile detention center, aged 27, has been charged with soliciting sex from a 16-year-old boy incarcerated at the facility. The sergeant is accused of writing letters that fantasized about sexual relations with the underage inmate.
