Police in south Wales have made the biggest crystal meth seizure ever. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency intercepted 5,000kg of skunk hidden in a gas tanker and suitcases with false bottoms. In Humberside, NCA officers seized 500 kilos of cocaine worth £40m, leading to four arrests. In a separate incident, $700K of cocaine was found in almond bags during a traffic stop. The Royal Navy seized nearly £17m worth of drugs in the Caribbean, while HMS Trent intercepted £200m worth of cocaine, bringing the total value seized to over £500m since January.
