London Mayor Sadiq Khan has faced criticism for blocking the plan to allow cars from the Ulez scheme to be sent to Ukraine for donation. Michael Gove and Boris Johnson have both expressed intentions to overrule Khan's decision, with Gove seeking to allow the cars to be sent to the warzone. The issue revolves around the need for the Government to change the scrapage scheme rules to enable the donation of the cars. The situation has escalated as various political figures have become involved, including calls for the Prime Minister and the Defence Ministry to intervene.

Had a good call with the London Mayors office. To get the 4x4’s to Ukraine we need the Government, not the Mayor, to allow the scrapage scheme rules to allow a donation as well as a destruction. Perhaps @10DowningStreet and @DefenceHQ will help? I be asking them
