Ray Atkins, a Liberal Democrat High Peak Borough Councillor for New Mills for 20 years, has passed away. Edwina Hannaford, a long-serving Cornwall Councillor, has also died after a long illness. She was devoted to public service and followed in her father's footsteps by becoming Mayor of Looe. Tributes have been paid to her tireless community champion and Looe maid. She leaves behind reflections on life, civic duty, and Looe, as recorded in a chat back in December.
