A new portrait of King Charles, dressed in full military regalia, has been released to mark Armed Forces Day. The portrait, taken last November by his coronation photographer Hugo Burnand before his cancer diagnosis, showcases the King in a Field Marshal uniform. Queen Camilla has also taken on a greater role this year, paying tribute to the 'men and women who protect this country of ours' and the 'hero' families who 'keep the home fires burning'. The portrait was held under embargo until midnight to coincide with Armed Forces Day.
