Deirdre Costigan has been selected as the Labour Party's parliamentary candidate for Ealing Southall. Costigan, who is the Vice Chair of Labour Irish and was born and raised in Dublin, has a background of activism and service in Ealing and with Unison the union. She is expected to be a formidable champion for the community. Her selection has been widely celebrated by Labour members and colleagues who commend her dedication and commitment. In addition, Uma Kumaran has been chosen as Labour's candidate for Stratford and Bow.
