The Electoral Commission faces criticism for not investigating alleged postal vote scandals in Rochdale, with concerns raised about language barriers and external influence. Labour is under scrutiny for a data breach in Croydon East, leading to questions about altered personal details and potential abuse of the Anonyvoter system.
Labour don't seem in any hurry to return my calls over this. Simple questions: 1. How many Labour members had their personal details altered? 2. Who did it? 3. Have they been expelled or disciplined? It seems like a serious attempt to fiddle the Croydon East selection. https://t.co/HQvL68TDAM
🔴CROYDON EAST: Labour is to be commended, at least, for not dragging out the investigation beyond the election, as I said they might. But this admitted serious data breach will only strengthen those who think Labour's online voting system, Anonyvoter, has also been abused. https://t.co/C54GDalnQa
🔴CROYDON EAST: so many questions remain unanswered. Who carried out the alterations? Has anyone been punished? Does Labour even know who did it? How many members were affected? What was their motive? How many other constituency databases may have been tampered with? https://t.co/APi0ASa19n
🔴 CROYDON EAST: Labour investigation into data breach says that between 8 Sep and 14 Nov 2023 "some of the personal details of Labour members in the Croydon East constituency were altered on the Labour Party membership database without authorisation".
Well, @ElectoralCommUK why are you not investigating the staggering number of postal votes in the Rochdale by-election? Who filled in the ballots? #RochdaleByElection https://t.co/POPV15CGBv
I’m perturbed that the Electoral Commission is not investigating the postal vote scandal in Rochdale. How do those of Asian descent who don’t speak English know how to complete a ballot paper? No doubt they have been ‘advised’ by Imams. It was a rigged election.
This suggests @NewhamIndParty has a very serious problem https://t.co/XZtdspzSwN
