Andrew Bridgen has been ordered to pay former health secretary Matt Hancock more than £40,000 in legal fees after an early stage of their libel battle. This decision follows the court awarding costs against Bridgen and explicitly stating Hancock as the successful party. Bridgen had spent £45,000 on a barrister for his case and requested the crowdfunder to pay twice due to his loss.
Please watch and share this video on my libel action against Matt Hancock, and donate if you can. That action is just the beginning. I believe he broke the criminal law as well and I am looking at the possibility of a private prosecution. https://t.co/WC1RYKqtGm Donate here 👆✌️… https://t.co/34xtKGiLik

Glad the Court has awarded costs against Mr Bridgen at this stage of his absurd libel action, and explicitly stated that I was the successful party - contrary to Bridgen’s ridiculous claims at the time. Mr Bridgen should stop wasting the court's time and drop this case now.
