The Sumner Tunnel in Boston will be closed for the weekend as part of the Sumner Tunnel Restoration Project. The closure will start on Friday, June 14, at 11:00 PM and end on Monday, June 17, at 5:00 AM. Additionally, lanes of the Storrow Drive tunnel will be partially closed from Monday, June 17, through Thursday, June 20, for lighting repair and replacement work. Travelers are advised to allow for extra time and consider using public transportation during the closure.
