Indonesia’s all-girl Muslim metal band, Voice of Baceprot, has made history by becoming the first Indonesian band to play at Glastonbury. Formed ten years ago by three teenage girls to promote gender equality and peace through their music, the band performed on the Woodsies stage. Known for their hijab-wearing members, they delivered a mix of pummelling rock blowouts and intricate jam sessions. The band, recent NMETheCover stars, captivated the audience with their performance.
