Today marks 11 years since the tragic loss of 19 Granite Mountain Hotshots, who were killed when they were overrun by a wildfire in a canyon near Yarnell, Arizona. A ceremony was held in Prescott on June 30 to honor their memory. The Yarnell Hill Fire claimed the lives of these firefighters in 2013. Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema also paid tribute, thanking all Arizona firefighters who put their lives on the line to keep the community safe.
