DoorDash and Uber Eats face scrutiny as reports emerge of imposters using fake restaurant names to deceive drivers and customers on food delivery apps. Concerns are raised about the addition of unauthorized restaurants on DoorDash and the use of 'premium' vehicles by Uber Eats for food delivery.
Yesterday I was talking to someone who DoorDashed one (1) coffee from Starbucks because she "doesn't like the coffee" at the place across the street. But in her defense she had the good sense not to complain about the cost!
Of course DoorDash wouldnβt exist under socialismβafter all, this would require having food for them to deliver

Con men are adding restaurants to Door Dash - but why? And is enough done to get businesses off food delivery apps when they donβt want to be there. Iβll investigate tonight on @KSL5TV at 10PM. @KSLInvestigates https://t.co/peYljLajaG
I find it amusing how Uber will mention that "premium" vehicle that my food is being delivered by, despite my never even seeing the vehicle since food gets dropped off to my door. Does food taste better when delivered by Porsche, Lambo or Tesla?
Most door dash orders seem pretty insane to me. Paying someone to drive to Mcdonalds for you and hand you a big mac seems like an absurd luxury that some people treat as a necessity https://t.co/Vh0qZa0rZJ
