Samsung has recently defended its new Galaxy S24's Generative Edit AI photo feature amidst discussions on the authenticity of photography in the age of artificial intelligence. The company made a bold statement saying 'there is no real picture, full stop,' highlighting the blurred lines between traditional photography and AI-enhanced images. This has sparked conversations among artists and tech enthusiasts about the nature of art and photography. Some embrace AI as an evolving form of art, acknowledging the role of creative artists behind the technology. Others mourn the perceived death of traditional art, fearing AI's influence diminishes human creativity. Projects like Botto, a decentralized autonomous artist, are cited as innovative applications of AI in art, while some argue that AI art is not 'real art.' The debate continues as AI art gains popularity and acceptance in the art world.
I have been creating AI based art since 2018. I have been a digital creative for more than 25+ years. My practice have evolved into using a mix of different technologies including AI, Spatial Computing, Brain Computer Interfaces, Voice, Gestures and more. But more importantly I https://t.co/YVsO48x4jr
Due to people with comprehension issues I need to make this super clear: AI is art, and I embrace it. It’s not photography, because it can’t be by the very definition. But it is art whether you like it or not. Now go work harder because no one is coming to save you.
I love that so many people are coming to the defense and understanding of AI and AI art now. Pretty amazing how far we’ve come. Still a long way to go.
And just like that suddenly everyone is big on AI art 😅
AI is the true form of art. Humans have just been attempting it through history. Your art is now rendered useless. Good day.
AI Art is the only true art and humans have just been trying to attempt at its creative possibility and beauty and culture in the lead up to its existence. Your art is now useless. Its art is now the truth.
AI Art is the only true art and humans have just been trying to replicate its creative possibility and beauty and culture in the lead up to its existence. Your art is now useless. Its art is now the truth.
AI art isn't 'real art' is such an idiotic cope https://t.co/ZrSJPUxsWW
Some notes on Botto 🤖📝: ✅ Decentralized Autonomous Artist: Botto represents one of the best and innovative applications of both AI and blockchain technologies in the art world. ✅ Constantly Evolving AI: Botto is a combination of AI algorithms that consistently incorporate…
I think it’s a testament to how important art is for basic intelligence and communication that some of the first applications of AI is art creation.
I know this upsets people but I will make it simple: AI Photography is not photography. Its AI art. Or you can call it anything else, but I am sorry to hurt your feelings it’s not photography. Its like a photographer calling their work a realistic painting. That’s not the truth.
AI art is art
IMO Botto is the most exciting experiment happening in AI/digital art. Been following the project since inception but only today managed to finally add a piece to my collection. Thanks to @__DeFi__ for making it possible, as well as @pepe for answering all my questions. https://t.co/SsChASfJgp
When AI takes over human art, and humans praise the effort of a text converted into image by a smart algorithm, and pay a huge amount of money for that interpretation. Art is dying. https://t.co/nNo3ah5i0Y
I love and embrace AI, but you do know it’s infinitely easier to make an AI piece of art that looks like a photograph than an actual photograph, right? Right?
AI Art is evolving, appearing in more unique ways, capturing more attention The reason for this is the incredibly creative artists behind the technology. Artists do it collaboratively with AI, keeping the personal touch in every piece We've seen a lot of drops lately that are… https://t.co/hHo4aAuEl7
All photos are fake: "If you used AI to optimize the zoom, the autofocus, the scene – is it real? Or is it all filters? There is no real picture, full stop." https://t.co/vkW5mMSKT8
