Microsoft has launched Copilot+ PCs, a new line of Windows computers featuring AI-first specifications, including generative and search functions. These PCs will initially use Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. One of the key features is the Automatic Super Resolution (Auto SR), an AI-based upscaling technology aimed at enhancing gaming performance with smoother frame rates and detailed visuals. Auto SR will compete with NVIDIA's DLSS and will be integrated into the operating system, providing benefits without the need for high-end GPUs. Additionally, Microsoft has addressed privacy concerns by making the AI feature that captures screenshots off by default after backlash from security researchers. Intel and AMD's Copilot Plus PCs will not have Copilot AI features at launch. Another feature called 'Recall' will allow easy screen snapshots based on text prompts.
